Questions jewelry teams ask

How does Catecut handle solid gold versus plated pieces?

Fineness, plating and metal family are taken from your product data and brand setup, so listings match what you actually sell. Catecut combines them with what it reads from the photo, such as metal color, setting and clasp.

How does Catecut identify the stone?

Catecut reads the stone's shape, cut and setting from the photo, and takes details like stone type, origin and certification from your product data and brand setup. The description covers both what the stone is and how it's set.

Do you handle lab-grown and simulated stones?

Yes. Stone origin covers natural, lab grown, cultured, simulated, synthetic and imitation, and certification covers labs such as GIA, IGI, HRD and AGS, so each listing says exactly what the piece is.

Can we use our own terms?

Yes. In brand setup you define your terminology, tone and title format for each product category, for example whether rings say "vermeil" or "gold over sterling silver". See the setup guide

Which languages are included?

English is included in every plan. Attribute tags are available in 16 languages: English, Icelandic, Swedish, German, Danish, Spanish, French, Polish, Italian, Finnish, Norwegian, Dutch, Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian and Vietnamese. Extra storefront languages are available at additional cost.
