How does Catecut work?

Install the app and Catecut reads your website to learn your brand voice. It then reads your product images and existing product data, gives every product page a Listing Score, and writes titles, descriptions, SEO, tags and attributes. When you publish, they go into the right Shopify fields.

Can Catecut identify product attributes from images?

Yes. Catecut reads the visible details of garments, accessories and jewelry from your product images and turns them into structured product data. Details like fabric composition or metal purity are taken from your product data and brand setup.

Can Catecut write SEO content?

Yes. Catecut writes SEO titles, meta descriptions and image alt text, along with structured attributes and tags that help search engines and AI shopping assistants understand each product.

Does Catecut write product descriptions?

Yes. Catecut writes natural product descriptions for the buyer, based on your product images, your existing text and your brand voice.

Does content go to my store automatically?

Only if you choose. By default Catecut is in Manual mode: it writes the content as a draft, and nothing changes on your store until you review and publish it. You can turn on automatic publishing in Publishing settings.

Can I control what is published to my product pages?

Yes. You choose what to publish: everything, or only parts such as the description, tags or SEO. You can edit or rewrite the content at any time.

Can I update existing product listings?

Yes. Catecut works with new and existing products. You can enrich, update or rewrite only the parts you choose, without changing how you work.

Does Catecut translate products into other languages?

Yes. Catecut writes product content in the languages you add, using real fashion terms, straight into Shopify's translation fields. You can add languages at any time.

My store isn't on Shopify. Can I use Catecut?

Yes. Catecut sits on top of your existing store. On Shopify you install the app yourself. For other platforms we set Catecut up for you and connect it to your product data, so you don't need to switch platforms. Book a call
